Professional Philosophy
My name is Bradley Strain, and I am currently a student at the University of Tennessee at Martin in the Health and Human Performance Department. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. As I continue my education and profession, I will promote a healthy lifestyle that encompasses mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. I believe in promoting natural forms of medicine, such as various forms of exercise, nutrient-rich foods, social interactions, meditation, and the overall joy of life. I think spreading kindness and serving others is the most honorable thing we can do, and I believe I am equipped to help every individual I meet by promoting health and wellness. My focus is on the study of biomechanics, nutrition, psychology, and anatomy and physiology. I hope to display a willingness to attend to everyone with the utmost consideration, respond to everything with the most objectivity I can obtain, and not allow personal bias to influence my career. I aim to treat everyone with humility and kindness, as if they were my only focus as if I were helping myself. I strive to respond quickly and efficiently in emergencies or any endeavor by always staying aware of my surroundings and allowing this philosophy to guide me, regardless of whether I am working or meeting someone outside a professional setting.
